Editorial principles
Evidence and claims
Consequential factual claims should be supported by appropriate sources. Manufacturer claims should be identified as such unless independent evidence supports the same proposition.
Independence
Affiliate relationships may influence which commercial programs are available to the site, but they should not change factual conclusions or cause unsupported claims to be presented as evidence.
Corrections
Material errors should be corrected when identified. Fast-changing product fields should be updated when new verified information materially affects the page.
Content boundaries
Health, belief-sensitive and other high-consequence topics require appropriate caveats, evidence standards and separation between objective claims and interpretation.
